We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the talented artists who participated in the BRAIN ART Competition 2023 hosted by Amrita Mind Brain Center, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Your participation made the event truly exceptional, and we are grateful for the opportunity to showcase your incredible artistic skills. We extend our gratitude to the school/college heads, art teachers and faculty members who supported and encouraged the students throughout the competition. It is through your guidance and mentorship that these young artists were able to showcase their skills and artistic vision.
The theme for BRAIN ART Competition 2023 was “Breaking the Stigma: Visualizing Brain Disorders”. This year, the level of engagement from participants was huge and we received 1049 entries online under the categories Digital Art, Painting, and Pencil Drawing. In general, the artworks portrayed abstract representations of the brain, artistic elements for neurons, synapses, or brain-related concepts, wandering mind with dreamlike imagery, or imaginative realms or images that evoke thoughts and emotions related to brain disorders and therapeutic impacts.
