Dr. Timber Haaker is a professor of business models at the School of Finance and Accounting at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics. He is an experienced researcher, advisor and trainer in business models and business model tools. He has over 20 years of experience in researching and applying business models and developing tools to support business model innovation. At Saxion he leads the research group on business models and is the founder and coordinator of the Business Model Lab as well as the Fieldlab Circular Innovation in Manufacturing In the Business Model Lab, he and his team conduct research into business models and business model innovation, and research methods and tools for the effective design and testing of (new) business models, with a focus on technology enabled (digital) business models and sustainability.
