The Olympic flag was hoisted by the chief guest of the day, K. Bhaskar Rao (Inspector, CRPF). Following which he took the salute of flag-bearers who were leading the colorful and impressive march past contingents of four different houses viz, Amritamayi, Anandamayi, Chinmayi, and Jyothirmayi. The chief guest delivered an inspirational speech in Hindi on the occasion, emphasizing the need for sports and exercise in the daily routine of individuals and the importance of leading a disciplined life.

Over two days, the athlete participated in 15 different events and won medals. An additional attraction was the cricket and football match between the staff and the students which was played in good spirit and camaraderie.

Celebrations culminated with the giving away of overall championship trophy for the Chinmayi house and distribution of prizes to the best sportspersons.
