Here’s a brief overview of the sessions:

  • Understanding Spiritual Quotient in Education : In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of nurturing spiritual intelligence alongside academic and emotional intelligence. SQ encompasses qualities such as empathy, compassion, integrity, resilience, and a sense of purpose and interconnectedness. We aim to explore the key aspects – Defining Spiritual Quotient, Practical applications , Impact on student wellbeing and Challenges and Strategies.
  • Digital Detox – Importance and Implementation for Educators : In today’s hyper-connected world, the pervasive use of digital devices and technology has become integral to both teaching and learning. However, there is growing concern about the potential drawbacks of constant digital engagement, such as reduced attention spans, increased stress levels, and diminished interpersonal connections. During our session, we aim to explore several key topics: Understanding Digital Detox , Impact on Educators , Strategies for Implementation and Promoting Balance.
  • Best Practices Ensuring Inculcation of Life Skills in Schools : During our session, we aim to explore and share insights on the following key areas: Identifying Essential Life Skills , Integration into Curriculum , Experiential Learning Approaches, Assessment and Evaluation and Teacher Training and support.

Event Details

Directorate of Admissions and Academic Outreach conducted one day Counsellors Conference on the 28th june 2024 at our Delhi NCR Campus, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. Total 30+ Educators including Counsellors and Principals attended the event. The event started at 11am with formal lamp lighting by Dr Sanjeev Singh, Medical Director, Ms Sunita Bajaj, Kavleen Kaur, Shubham tomar and Sakshi chadha.
Event Started with a Welcome note by Dr Sanjeev singh Sir, where he welcomed all the participant and shared his valuable life experiences and the history of amrita hospital. Followed by a session by Ms Sunita Bajaj(Counselling Psychologist, TEDx Speaker) on the topic of Mind Matters: The transformative power of a growth mindset, A very engaging 1 hour session by her was truly motivated the participants.
The last session of the day was taken by Kavleen Kaur (Founder Credo Learnings) on the topic of Future Ready – Fostering 21st century skills for a flat world. After this final energetic and informative session there was an activity executed by the anchor of the show which was human knot, very entertaining activity which showed us the power of coordination and communication. After the fruitful sessions and the activity all the participants had lunch followed by Vote of Thanks and Certificate distribution along with Photographs. The complete event was covered by Danik Jagran and the coverage was carried in all the editions of dainik jagran Inext newspaper.

Event Details

Directorate of Admissions and Academic Outreach conducted one day Counsellors Meet on the 17th May 2024 at our Delhi NCR Campus, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad. Total 43 Educators including Counsellors and Principals attending the event. The event started at 10am with formal lamp lighting by Dr Sanjeev Singh, Medical Director, Dr.BK Mishra , Principal MBBS, Dr Lekha , Principal Nursing.

We had 43 attendees, and we were happy to see people attending the event from Agra too. We had Mrs Meenu Bhargawa ( Counselling Psychologist ) delivering a brilliant engaging session on Transformation of Education in the 21st Century for about 40 mins followed by a talk for 30 mins on Mental Health and Wellbeing amongst Youth by Dr. Rakesh Chadda( HOD Psychiatry ). After the Lunch there was Vote of Thanks and Certificate distribution along with Photographs. The complete event was covered by Danik Jagran. Everyone enjoyed the event and looked forward for many more engagements.
