A National Webinar on “Natural Resources: Cherish or Perish: Part-I” was conducted on February 25th 2021, from 04.00 pm to 05.30 pm at Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi in the online platform Microsoft teams. Sub-themes are “Nurture nature: Don’t torture and Reduce, Reuse and recycle water”. One hundred and forty nine participants were present including faculty and students from Amrita College of Nursing and Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore. Resource person was Dr. Maya Mahajan (Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore). Highlights of the session were issues of global environment, water scarcity at international level, impacts of dams, sustainable farming and wetland root system. Feedback was collected from participants using Google forms which depicts that, the webinar was much informative and relevant.
