Dr Nimal Madhu M. completed his doctoral studies from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand in 2016. His alma mater list also includes Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (M.Tech) and Govt. Engineering College, Thrissur, Kerala (B.Tech). He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Bangchak Initiative and Innovation Center@AIT (BIIC@AIT), an industry-academic collaborative research center at AIT Thailand. He has good quality publications from the various fields of research viz., risk analysis and portfolio management, deep and machine learning for renewable energy and battery-related forecasting and optimization, and analysis and optimization of microgrids and distribution systems. Apart from his interest in applications of Deep Learning towards intelligent energy systems, his research pursuit spans financial time series as well, especially for stock market studies.
