Faculty Bio

Dr. Vijay Pande currently serves as Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru.

He holds the degree of Ph. D. (Systems and Control Engineering), 1996 from IIT Bombay. He has the credit of creating a Company with Essel group called Essel ADI Smart Grid Pvt. Ltd. He has also conceived concepted, designed, developed and implemented the innovative solution called as “Reactive Power Managed Service” for the electric utility of Nagpur. He has been System Architect for Glodyne Technoserve Limited and started Glodyne power and won Patna and Gaya Distribution Franchisee bid in 2010. He has also setup Powertec India Pvt. Ltd. – AMR metering company in San Jose funded by Dong Denmark. He has completed multiple National and International projects in his expertise.
