Faculty Bio

Received PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Deakin University, Australia, in 2021. Currently serving as the Chairperson of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.  Prior to joining Amrita University, served the Indian Space Research Organization as a Scientist from 1977 to 2013 , at two of its prestigious centres – Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre Trivandrum and ISRO Satellite Centre Bangalore.  During this period, was responsible for the hardware and software systems development for India’s prestigious satellite and satellite launch vehicle missions. As an avionics system expert, collaborated with in-house design teams and liaised with international experts in realizing space electronic systems conforming to space quality and reliability standards.
