| Job Description | Roles and Responsibilities: Manage ICTS Infrastructure like Data Center with Servers and Networks Generate ICTS infrastructure specific site preliminaries inspection reports. Assist in the development of ICTS policies in consultation with the manager. Test new hardware and software before commissioning. Automate any recurring tasks using scripts. Identify, investigate, analyse, resolve, and log/report issues and incidents on time to ensure minimal ICT services disruption. Undertake preventative maintenance checks, ICTS infrastructure reliability, monitoring and documentation requirements. Perform root cause analysis to permanently solve recurring issues. Be familiar with processes for Change Requests and client Incident/Request ownership through to resolution. Collaborate with the team members including Hardware and Software maintenance teams in the deployment, monitoring, management of the ICTS infrastructure. Monitor ICTS infrastructure’s capacity, performance levels and report upgrade requirements and improvements on time. Maintain accurate documentation of all core ICTS infrastructure including cloud services. Be ready to provide support to students and non-academic departments as and when requested and approved by the Head – ICTS. Provide technical support as a key escalation point for ICTS infrastructure. |
