Joey Willemse

Joey Willemse achieved a Bachelor in Facility Management at the Saxion University of Applied Sciences, and after some work experience pursued (and achieved) a Master of Science degree in Facility Management, whilst graduating on the topic of Concentrated work in the Workspace environment. Amongst other jobs, Joey has worked in the financial, insurance and energy sector at Rabobank, Achmea and TenneT TSO respectively. After these jobs Joey reignited his passion for research and found the challenge he was looking for at the Saxion University of Applied Sciences. Within Saxion Joey tutors Master students from the Master Facility and Real Estate program, Master of Business Administration, and International Finance and Accounting program. Furthermore, Joey teaches Business Models within the Minor of Digital Business Models & Blockchain. From a research perspective, Joey conducts most of his work within the research group of Business Models. Currently he is and has worked on, research regarding Circular Business Operations, Circular Business Models, a Learning Community for Biogas and Greengas, and Smart Energy Hubs (both on a national and international level).
