Integrated Internet of Things (IoT) for real time monitoring and detection of Landslides

This project is about Architectural Design, Development, Testing and Deployment of an integrated IoT Network for detecting Landslides in the Himalayan region. It  consists of interfacing with various  sensors of different types including pore pressure sensor, geophones, rain sensor, moisture sensor etc  that are strategically placed to sense the geological parameters. It also uses Heterogeneous  wireless networks like Wifi 802.11/g/n, LoRa, Zigbee and Long range Wifi  for form real time IoT Network, combined with various algorithms for full duplex real time transmission of data to the Data Analysis Center  located thousands of miles away from the field. The Data Analysis Center  is provided with state of art analysis and decision support system to determine the factor of safety for Early Warning of Landslides
