Abstract : Various schemes have been proposed to prevent Shoulder surfing and Keyboard logging attacks. Though most of these are quite secure and do prevent these attacks, they often require substantial mental and time effort from the user. The time required to enter the password is also quite high in these schemes, leading to hindrance in their mass acceptability The proposed scheme seeks to reduce the password entry time and is less mentally taxing on the user. It is based on the principle that the mental process of recall gets better with time, whereas the process to search amongst the objects to does not improve at that pace. © 2018 IEEE.
