Abstract : A polymer electrolyte can be defined as a macromolecular substance made up of repeating monomers with the ability to conduct charged species across the electrodes of a device. A polymer electrolyte derived from renewable resources like biomass or microbes, rather than conventional sources like petroleum, is called bio-based polymer electrolytes.
