Abstract : In the original manuscript, FTIR spectrum of chitin–chitosan–ZrO2 (Fig. 1A) was inadvertently provided with spectrum of chitin–chitosan. In the original manuscript text 3.1 Characterization “However no specific bands corresponding to ZrO2 were observed which could be due to the absence of any chemical reaction between chitin–chitosan and ZrO2, respectively.” should be read as “the characteristic peaks of ZrO2 were found at 746 cm−1 corresponding to the monoclinic structure of ZrO2 and peaks at 552 cm−1 and 643 cm−1 corresponds to the tetragonal structure of ZrO2 were present in the FTIR spectra of chitin–chitosan–nanoZrO2 scaffolds.” © 2019 Elsevier B.V.
