Abstract : The readers-writers problem is quite famous and is implemented in several ways. This article aims to propose a solution for the readers-writers problem, where the reader will be having the ability to pause, resume and stop the reading process which is in execution. Whenever a reader is reading and when a writer comes in the middle to write, it is assumed the writer process has more privileges and make the existing reading process pause the execution and only continue reading when the writer process comes out. It can be implemented using Java Remote Method Invocation.
