Abstract : The brain is vulnurable to injury from alcohol consumption. Multiple factors can influence the brain as a consequence of alcohol consumotion. Alcoholism related brtain damage might be associated with an individuaks age, gender drinking history and nutrition as well as with the vulnurebality of specific areas of brain. The generation of neuronal cells is associated with alcohol pathology. Oneof the proposed mechanism of alcohol-indiced brain damage is due to increased oxidatibe stess causing damage to mitochondria and altering the funvtions of gila cells.
