Abstract : This presentation titled Energy Efficient retrofit of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning was presented during Sustainability_through_Energy_Management and Renewable_Energy conference organized by ASHRAE mumbai chapter, ISHRAE thane chapter and IAEMP. Below is the abstract of the presentation Energy efficient solutions are available in abundance with the advent of modern, high technology equipments, but complete replacement of existing equipments with these new high tech alternates requires huge CAPEX. Complete replacement of existing equipments doesn’t sound Green as the replaced equipments are scrapped or kept unused. This session focusses on the proven, yet, little known faster ROI energy efficient environmental friendly retrofit case studies especially in the field of HVAC like BLDC EC fan for Air Handlers, Efficiency improvement of outdoor chillers, High Volume Low Speed Fan for conditioned Space, Intelligent cost effective EMS & BMS, Low Heat load electric and day lighting solutions, Radiant Cooling, waste Heat / bio fuel fired/ Solar hot water VAM and Energy efficient retrofit project identification, evaluation and optimization using analysis / Simulation softwares
