Abstract : Hybrid electric vehicles combine an internal combustion engine and an electric motor, allowing the vehicle to switch between different power sources depending on driving conditions and energy needs. Smart Energy Management System [SEMS] intelligently manages the flow of energy between battery, engine and vehicle to optimize fuel consumption and reduce emissions. Eco-friendly hybrid electric vehicles with SEMS and V2X topology are an innovative solution to reduce the environmental impact of traffic while improving fuel efficiency and vehicle performance. V2X topology can be used for smart energy management system in HEVs with the usage of the vehicle's battery to give energy back to the grid or home, integrating renewable energy sources, and furnishing energy effective routing information to the driver. These strategies can help reduce energy consumption, promote the use of renewable energy sources, and ameliorate the overall energy effectiveness of the HEV. Several key technologies and components are required to make this new eco-friendly hybrid electric vehicle a reality, including efficient hybrid drive systems, advanced energy storage systems and advanced V2X communication networks. Additionally, the vehicle design should incorporate lightweight and aerodynamic materials to further improve fuel efficiency. A comprehensive overview of the parameters that need to be considered for HEV implementation is discussed in this paper. The paper discusses the benefits of HEVs with V2X topology and smart energy management, including increased efficiency, reduced emissions, and improved grid stability. It also highlights the challenges associated with these technologies. The paper concludes that while HEVs with V2X topology and smart energy management have significant potential, further research and development are needed to fully realize their benefits.
