Abstract : Analysis, Performance modelling, and Quality of Service (QoS) analysis of a Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET) modelled as a Poisson process, where the road is modelled by an M/M/c/∞ queuing model. VANET is growing for an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) by providing its communication framework for the multi-hop cooperative data dissemination of vehicular safety services. For a Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) or Inter-Vehicular Communications (IVC) and Road Side Units (RSUs), the multi-hop data dissemination is a promising approach to address the congestion control problem that solves the network utility maximization problem. Which depends on the time-varying factor of the limited connection in vehicular networks. Optimality and stability of the congestion control problem will be established using queuing theory. In V2V, cooperation collision avoidance problem is reduced through the multi-hop cooperative data dissemination technique. Then we formulate the stochastic network optimization problem to find the best route and select the shortest path for the multi-hop cooperative data dissemination in VANET. In this paper, we proposed a network using queuing model and compared the QoS of network utilization, response time, and throughput of network performance in vehicular networks.
