Herbal Garden at School of Ayurveda

Herbal Garden

The herbal garden of the Institute is spread out in an area of 5 acres of land where 500 rare species of medicinal plants are grown.

A part of the herbal garden has been earmarked exclusively for growing herbs required for the research division of the hospital. The hospital has an organized pharmacy department where the medicines from the drug manufacturing unit as well as formulations of other companies are dispensed.

The herbal garden is very well useful for the students of all professions especially for the 2nd BAMS students who have Dravyaguna Vijnayana as a prime subject. The Dept. of Dravyaguna Vijnyana has a prime role in conception and maintenance of the garden.
