Amrita Wins "Best Paper Runner-up Award" at 17th International Symposium, W2GIS 2019, Kyoto, Japan

The students from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, along with Professor Dr. Vidhya Balasubramanian, won "Best Paper Runner-up Award" for their paper titled "A Dynamic Weighted Trilateration Algorithm for Indoor Localization using Dual-band WiFi" at the 17th International Symposium on Web & Wireless Geographical Information Systems, held at Kyoto, Japan, from May 16-17, 2019.

Dr. Rajeshwari P. N., Associate Professor, Department of Shalya Tantra, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, presented her research paper entitled “Open Label Single Arm Study on Effect of Milk Decoction of Liquorice Root in GERD” at the 2nd International Conference on Herbal & Traditional Medicine, held at Dubai, UAE from June 20-21, 2019.

Dr. Rajesh Kannan Megalingam, Director, HuT (Humanitarian Technology) Labs and Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, has been awarded the 2020 IEEE Undergraduate Teaching Award for his exemplary role in encouraging undergraduate engineering students to take up research for developing innovative solutions for the society by IEEE Board of Directors.

Faculty Wins Best Paper Award & Travel Grant at National Symposium on Evidence Synthesis, New Delhi

Dr. R. Venkitachalam, Assistant Professor, Department of Public Health Dentistry, School of Dentistry, Amrita Health Sciences, Kochi, won the Best Paper Award for the paper titled “Effectiveness of Laser over Conventional Techniques for the Clinical and Radiographic Outcomes of Primary Molar Pulpotomy: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis” at the National Symposium on Evidence Synthesis for Medicine, Public Health & Social Development held at India Habitat Center, New Delhi, from April 10-12, 2019.
