Overview

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham strongly believes in the philosophy that sports is a great tool to build character, improve fitness, and foster relationships. We also acknowledge the fact that learning should not be limited to classrooms. Team sports, we believe, offer a controlled setup for an individual to learn a few of life’s most important lessons. Based on those ideologies, the Physical Education Department in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham invites and hosts other higher education institutes in its vicinity for friendly matches in various sports periodically.

In November 2021, Amrita gave the Permission for using Amrita’s Playground for Revenue District School Games.
