Development of Real-Time Personalized Intervention System for Elderly People in Ambient Assisted Living

The elderly population may face challenges in carrying out daily activities due to their physical and mental conditions. Problems such as hearing loss, weakness of muscle strength, osteoarthritis, depression, obstructive pulmonary diseases along with a decline in cognitive functions are very common in older adults. In order to ensure healthy and active aging, it is of utmost importance to make use of technological advancements in various fields to maintain their physical and mental health conditions. Ambient assisted living (AAL) is an emerging trend that promises to provide high-quality, independent, and safe lives for elderly people who may have mild cognitive impairments. The main objective of the project is to develop a real-time personalized intervention system for elderly people in AAL.
