About the Project

Nano materials can be employed as carriers for controlled drug administration. This method has several amazing characteristics such as very large surface area to volume ratio, ability to improve drug permeability without influencing its pharmacological characteristics, superior mechanical performance and flexibility in surface functionalities. These outstanding properties make the polymer nanofibers to be optimal candidates for many important applications. There are numerous methods that have been developed to generate suitable nanostructured carriers which includes lipids, biodegradable organic or inorganic polymers and so on. Current work involves design and characterize both inorganic or organic polymers nanocomposite for medicinal and electrochemical applications.
