• Culture and Civilization- Defenitions, Differences, Relation of culture and Values, Indian culture-Uniqueness and the pillars of Indian culture

Module 3 (4 hours)

• Purusharthas or Goal of life Dharma, Artha,Kama,Moksha.
• Symbols of Indian Culture – Forms, Meanings and Significance of symbols – Religious Symbols – Swastika – Omkara – Lingam – Lotus – Tilak – Rudraksha – Shankha, lotus

Module 4 (3 hours)

• Man and Nature- Depletion of natural resourses-Root causes, Our ancestors life-Harmony with nature, Pancha yajnas and Pancha matas, Re establish the lost harmony, role of religion. Rishis and scientist

Module 5 (2 hours)

• India’s Ecological heritage- Vediac view of nature, Sacred groves, Causes of destructions and solutions

Module 6 (5 hours)

• Introduction to Vedas and Vedanta – Fourteen Abodes, Four Vedas, Samhitas, Brahmanas, Aranyakas, Upanishads, Six Vedangas, Four Upavedas
• Vedanta and Image worship, Sadhana and self realization, Imbibe principles of Vedanta
