Amrita Centre for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks, Amritapuri Campus, organized a one day workshop on Cybersecurity, “Boots on the Ground” (BOG), on March 22, 2019. The focus of the workshop was to bring an awareness of the importance of cybersecurity in industries. The workshop was partially hands-on and was the participants were taken through real-world scenarios during a cybersecurity threat.

The participants learnt to:

• Experience dilemmas that cross areas and positions in a financial organization.
• Experience decision making during a crisis time and cyber events.
• Think and express innovation and creativity while experiencing uncertainty.
• Practice teamwork.

Dr. Micha Weis (Cyber Security Adviser, Ministry of Finance, Israel) was the guest lecturer for the event. The program was attended by faculty members and the postgraduate scholars of the M.Tech. Cybersecurity Systems and Networks.
