Workshop Theme
LaTeX is the principal standard typesetting package for producing professional-quality Articles, Thesis, Books, Power Point Presentation (beamer), and other structured documents which involves mathematical symbols and equations, but can be used for any document in general. LaTeX provides a facility for pdf output which is platform independent and can be shared with other people who do not have LaTeX installed. This training is designed to instruct delegates on the principles of using LaTeX to design their own documents and presentations for a wide range of purposes.
On the other hand, MATLAB can be used as a computing tool for several real world applications. With the advent of novel Computational and Mathematical Methods, Scientists and Engineers working in diversified research fields get the confidence to solve challenging physical problems that they encounter in several disciplines. The MATLAB part of the workshop starts with introductory MATLAB tutorials followed by sessions on Linear
Algebra, Data visualization, Calculus and ODE solver. This workshop will give you the big picture of MATLAB and broaden your Computational and Engineering skills in addition to your Knowledge spectrum.
