The Department of Mathematics, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, organised a Talk on “Differential Geometry” on March 16, 2017.
Dr. Subrahamanian Moosath, Head, Department of Mathematics, IIST Trivandrum, conducted the sessions and it focused on Differential Geometry and its applications. The subject of general differential geometry is destined to become one of the great branches of mathematics, comparable to the present status of general (abstract) algebra and general analysis.
