Bio

Dr. Apurvanand Sahay is an Assistant Professor at School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Bangalore. His research interests are in the field of model-driven engineering and applying machine learning to bioinformatics. He has done Ph.D. in the topic of “Cloud-Based Low-Code Model Transformations Composition and Execution” in the field of Model-Driven Engineering under European Union funded “Lowcomote” project. He has completed his Ph.D. from L’Aquila University, Italy in the year 2023. Currently, he has been exploring the field of bioinformatics especially the gene expression datasets and its applications using machine learning.

He has done M.Tech (CSE) from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bangalore campus. He got an opportunity in Indo-Italian dual degree program of Amrita which had been done in his 2nd year of masters from L’Aquila University. He got 2 master’s degrees in CSE and Informatica from two universities (Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bangalore and L’Aquila University) in 2018. He also did Master of Computer Applications (M.C.A.) from Lucknow University in 2015 and B.Sc (H) Computer Science from Delhi University in 2012

Qualification : B.Sc. (H) Computer Science, M.C.A., MTech (CSE) along with MTech (Informatica), Ph.D.
