Bio

Dr. Ananta Sharma currently serves as a Chairperson in Amrita Darshanam (International Centre for Spiritual Studies) in Amaravati campus. He has undergone the traditional gurukula system of education for twelve years since the age ten, which included Vedas, Śāstras, Yoga, fine arts as well as modern science. During this period, along with gurukula studies, he has been graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and two Master’s degrees. Later, having been awarded JRF, he has completed his research work in the field of Advaita Vedanta and was awarded a doctoral degree for the same.

With over 7 years of teaching experience and more than 4 years dedicated to research, Dr. Sharma has actively contributed to academia. He has mentored numerous PG-level student projects and played a key role in organizing committees for various conferences and workshops. Notably, he served as the principal academic coordinator for an ICPR-funded workshop. Additionally, Dr. Sharma has delivered several invited talks and served as a resource person in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).
