Bio

Dr. Nimmy K. is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Amrita School of Computing. Before joining CSE Department, she was a Full-Time Research Fellow at the Center for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri and a recipient of the prestigious Visveswaraya Ph. D. Scholarship under the scheme of Visvesvaraya Ph. D. Scheme for Electronics and IT funded by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. She received a Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in Cyber Security from TIFAC CORE in Cyber Security of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, and a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RIT), Kerala. She has more than four years of experience in research projects funded by ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) and four years of teaching experience. She has published papers in premier journals and conferences. Her research interests span both Cryptographic Protocols and Web Security. She was invited for a talk on “Ethical Hacking and Cyber Security” and was a resource person to many Faculty Development Programs.
