Dr. Shivsubramani Krishnamoorthy (Br. Ramanandamrita Chaitanya) has research and teaching experience for more than 17 years in various disciplines of Computer Science. He secured his PhD in Computer Science from University of Maryland. His research primarily was focused on Pervasive Computing, ContextAware Computing, Mobile Computing and System Integration. He has 30+ publications in reputed journals, international conferences, and other venues, with his work being published by IEEE, ACM, Elsevier, Springer etc.

A public safety system championed by Dr. Shivsubramani Krishnamoorthy during his PhD at the University of Maryland was widely recognized with prominent news agencies like CNN, BBC, Al-Jazeera, Fox News, ABC, NBC, NPR and others covering about it. The project was also recognized at various venues with it receiving awards like VITA- Wireless Samarian Award by the CTIA Wireless Association and the National Technology Champion of the year by National Organization of Black Law Enforcement (NOBLE), USA.

He also directs the administration of our University’s (and our mother organization’s) humanitarian efforts – Embracing the World in the US and Canada.
