Bio

He currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Amrita School of Computing. His research interests encompass various areas, such as Graph Quantization aimed at solving Graph Isomorphism problems within specific application domains, Complex Network Analysis, Mathematical Modeling for Graph Quantization, Combinatorial Algorithmic Complexities, and Machine Learning for Graph Mining and Large Scale Data Analysis. Dr. Ramraj is known for his dedication to teaching and is also a GATE trainer (South India- Level) and a Placement trainer. He enjoys teaching a diverse range of subjects, including Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Formal Languages and Automata Theory, Graph Theory, Database Technologies, Machine Learning, Data Science, Discrete Structures, Unix Internals, and various programming paradigms such as imperative (C, Java, Python), object-oriented (C++), functional (Haskell, Scala), and scripting (bash).

Dr. Ramraj has received numerous awards and honors for his academic contributions and has served as a reviewer for a few reputed journals. Prior to joining Amrita- Coimbatore campus, he held a faculty position a faculty position in the Department of CSE at Coimbatore Institute of Technology between 2007 and 2023. Between 2005 and 2007, he held a Systems Engineer position at Elvista Digital Systems in Bangalore, where he was involved in the design and deployment of Digital Image Processing and Pattern Recognition algorithms. He holds both a Master’s and a Doctorate degree from Anna University, Chennai.
