Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham inked MoU with Mosil, a leading Indian Lubricant manufacturing company on 15 Feb 2023. The Principal Director, Corporate and Industry Relations of Amrita, Shri C Parameswaran and the Director Mosil, Mr Samvar Mavanisigned an MoU at a function held at the Chennai campus of the University. The event was witnessed by Mr Shail Mavani, Director (Technical) Mosil, Dr Jayakumar Principal, Amrita School of Engineering Chennai, R Ravi Sankar Joint Director CIR Chennai, Dr Shubrajit Bhaumik, Associate Professor & Tribologist, Dept of Mech Engineering, members of faculty and students. The MoU aims at long term academia industry collaborative research in Tribology and product innovation.

On the same day morning, Poojaneeya Swami Vinayamritananda Puri inaugurated and blessed TRISUL, a Tribology Research Lab sponsored by Mosil with advanced instruments in tribological testing and research.

“This MoUs will boost research and innovation in the Amrita campus, Chennai intribology which would serve the industry and the nation in the long term” remarked the Principal Director during the occasion of forging the historic partnership.
