The Department of Physical Education, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri campus, organized the Inter Amrita Power Lifting Championship for the year 2018-19 at the campus from October 4-5, 2018. The venue of the event was Annapurna Mess Hall and Open Stage of Amritapuri campus.

For the sixth consecutive year, Amritapuri campus has won the Inter-Amrita Power Lifting (Men) Championships 2018.

The Amritapuri campus team was coached and guided by Krishnakumar S., Chairman, Department of Physical Education, Bijeesh C., Gym Instructor and Power Lifting Coach, and Ratheesh P. M. Gymnasium Instructor.
