Amrita School of Pharmacy conducted Gita Jayanthi celebrations on 2nd December 2022, in the college auditorium. Acharya Sri K R Nambiar, Former president, Chinmaya mission was the chief guest for the program. Shri HariharanS Iyer, introduced the chief guest and explained his journey to spirituality.The chief guest, Acharya Sir K R Nambiar gave a speech on the essence of Bhagavad Gita, citing various reasons to follow the values of it.

As a part of the Gita Jayanthi celebrations, the college had conducted competitions on 24th November 2022. The competitions were Gita chanting and elocution on the topic, “Sharing the student perspective on Bhagavad Gita”. The first place in both the competitions was secured by Rajalakshmi S, Pharm D batch 2020 and The Second prize for Gita Chanting was shared by Ms. AnjanaBabu of BPharm 2nd year and Ms. DevikaM of BPharm 3rd year.The prizes of the competitions were distributed by the respected Guests. As a token of respect, on behalf of Amrita School of Pharmacy, Dr. Sabitha M, Principal presented a memento to Acharya Sri K R Nambiar Sir. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Indrani S Kamath, Pharm D batch 2022.
