A national workshop on Cloud Computing was conducted on 6th February 2016, by Mr. Javaad Shareef M. A., Development Engineer, Payoda Networks, Coimbatore. The session provided an in-depth summary of cloud computing as a service, as a platform and as an infrastructure. Mr. Javaad had demonstrated the use of cloud computing in detail and described the various stages of computing that led to a broader understanding of cloud applications. During the session, he had also highlighted the types of cloud deployment models, cloud service models, common cloud providers and services and introduced the audience to basic Amazon Cloud Service (AWS) and services development.
