Supermarkets are one of the boomed businesses today. They provide their customers the freedom to choose their required product based on their requirements' and satisfaction and hence leading to customer satisfaction during their shopping. The customer satisfaction plays a key role in the supermarket and this is achieved by analyzing the shopping behavior of the customers in a majority. In this project, we will be considering a few factors such as customer economic status, customer frequent item sets buying the pattern, number of times customer visits supermarket, the location of the supermarket, residence location of the customers etc. in order to analyze the shopping behavior of the customers. The primary data is collected through the supermarket survey methodology. In order to predict the frequent item sets of the customers, the apriori algorithm is used to obtain the results. © 2017 IEEE.
