Abstract : Computational thinking is a strategic thought process that has led to spectacular achievements which ignited a technological boom across domains. Classification is one of the major task in machine learning. Support Vector Machine is one of the classification method in machine learning. One class SVM is a method for identifying outliers from a data set. In one class SVM, only target class information is taken into consideration and outliers information are not taken. Using this we minimize the chance of accepting outliers by optimizing the radius of hypersphere. This is a robust method against outliers. In this paper, the experiment of one class SVM on simulated data points is implemented in Excel. Excel is a powerful and easy tool that gives an opportunity for better understanding and ease of learning. It is the only platform which requires very less system requirements and programming skills. © Research India Publications.
