Abstract : This article proposed an extended class of regression-cum ratio estimator to estimate the mean of sensitive variable with the occurrence of measurement errors. The article considers the use of scramble variable in RRT techniques to estimate the parameters of the sensitive variable. Mean square error has been computed in the presence of measurement error for proposed estimator as well as members of the estimators. In order to show the efficacy of the proposed class of estimator, simulation study has been conducted. The influence of measurement errors on the mean square errors of the proposed estimator as well as members of the estimator for the different levels of scramble variable is obtained.
