Abstract : Waspaloy (nickel-base superalloy), broadly utilized in tall temperature applications such as flying machine, arrive based turbines. This specialized paper bargains with erosion mechanism of Waspaloy. The erosion experiments conducted on the Waspaloy by utilizing high temperature erosion tester at 800°C. Characterization of the Waspaloy accomplished by utilizing SEM and profilometer. SEM micrographs of Waspaloy material uncover the lip arrangement and furrowing are the material removal mechanisms of Waspaloy at 45° impingement, whereas at 90°, it is lip expulsion taken after by smoothing of lip and separation of platelet.
