Abstract : The unpredictability of seizures creates stress and disability for affected people and caregivers. If a seizure can be reliably detected, then the patient's caregiver or the nursing staff can be warned. It may help prevent any injury or death. The purpose of this project is to develop a cost-effective, wearable, and portable device that can detect seizures and alert patients and their families about the detection of any motor activity for a particular seizure. Unlike other seizure detection devices which uses EEG and ECG modules which make it complicated and uncomfortable for the patients to wear, this proposed model is designed to be less complicated and as an easily manageable device with the help of EMG module and sensors to get proper and accurate readings and it facilitates continuous monitoring of epilepsy patients without interrupting daily activities.
