Abstract : Internet Service Providers are generally commercial, non-profit, privately owned or community-owned companies that provide various telecommunications services including data communications access and telephone connection for various users. It has become the most influential part of our life, as it offers endless connectivity between the end-users. As a result, the count of Internet Service Providers has significantly increased in current times and unfortunately customers are restricted to use the service of an unknown provider. During such circumstances, a user should be encouraged to choose the Internet Service Provider according to his own priorities. This makes it necessary for an application which acquires the priorities from the end user and provides a ranking of Internet Service Providers. In our paper, we have applied multiple criteria decision-making methods to provide ranking of internet Service Providers based on the user priorities acquired. This paper also focuses on applying the above decision-making methods to the service providers available in the Indian market.
