Abstract : In any society, education is arguably the most purposeful area of engagement for the empowerment of girls and women. The potential for using information and communication technologies (ICTs) as an educational tool to promote women's growth is enormous. Kudumbashree had a variety of ICT programmes for women, including neighbourhood education programs, a Science and Technology institution for self-employed women, and the Telecommunications project, which offered smart phones to women in the unorganized sector, among other things. The study is focused on the significance of digital media in women's empowerment and how Kudumbashree educates women. The study's target audience is Ernakulum district women. The researcher observes the qualitative analysis procedure for the investigation. The study's goal is to investigate and debate the role of digital media in women's empowerment. Women have new avenues of information and professional prospects because to digital media. We can learn whether digital media education enhanced their lives during Covid 19 by providing financial empowerment through this study.
