Amrita Student Team Organises a Cybersecurity Event to Break the Stereotypes

ShaktiCon is a series of programs with a goal to excite, train and support women from all over the globe to develop critical skills in the area of cybersecurity. It features multiple training workshops, talks, seminars and hacking contests spanned over 3 months and is organized by Team Shakti along with the support of team bi0s and Black hoodie. 

Amrita Professor Contributes to India’s National Science, Technology & Innovation Policy

Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (University), Coimbatore campus in South India has rendered service as a faculty ambassador for the upcoming National Science, Technology & Innovation Policy (STIP) 2020 of the Government of India.

In this capacity, he has organized a STIP 2020 consultation event of the international professional body, IEEE as also publicized various STIP2020 events in the university & professional circles.

Brain Bucket, a student team from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, has emerged as the runner-up in Yaadhum Oorae Global Conclave Hackathon 2020 organized by IEEE YESIST12, IEEE Madras Section & Guidance Tamil Nadu, investment promotion agency of Tamil Nadu government.
