I am Dr. Priyanka Madan and I am presently working as associate consultant anesthesia in MAX Super Specialty Hospital New Delhi. I am a 2004 batch of Amrita and about the institution definitely the must go Institute because it promotes value-based education under the guidance of AMMA. Definitely the infrastructure is awesome with the latest technologies available and the team of doctors is good and dedicated. We learn not only medicine here but also we learn humanity and spirituality. That’s how this Institute is different from all other Institutions and I am proud to call myself from the AMRITA family. I am a doctor in Indian Air Force. I completed my MD in General Medicine from Amrita last year. The institution has been very close to my heart because during my PG the ups and downs, the institution has been very supportive especially the Principal, Colonel Vishal Marwaha sir and my HOD MGK Pillai sir. They helped me both in my academic and helped me in publishing papers and my research works. I still recall an incident where one of my papers got accepted in German Society of Internal Medicine but there was no funding but the institution had come forward and supported me to present the paper in Germany which helped me get a young scientist award from there. As such the institution has large potential for research and academic wise if we see there is lot of scope. Even me joining Indian Air Force was also a motivation from Colonel Vishal Marwaha who himself was a Rheumatologist in the Indian Army. I am thankful to everyone in the Institute who had supported me throughout my post-graduation. I am thankful to P. G. Nair Madam for giving me an opportunity to share my experience with you all.
