There is an immense push towards sustainability and resilience. This is exemplified through the sustainable development goals outlined by the United Nations. Ensuring sustainable growth and building resilience are challenges faced by both developing and developed economies. The objective of the conference is to address the said challenges through innovative, novel, and region-specific solutions. This conference intends to bring together the best minds in the domain of sustainability and resilience to address these challenges. The conference will provide researchers/students/practicing professionals to present their solutions, share ideas, highlight best practices, and create long lasting professional contact to address the challenges stated above. This conference is centered around the theme of resilience and sustainability, and will be conducted annually.

The Department of Civil Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham was established in 2008. Within 15 years, we have established our self as a leading engineering college. This is reflected in our NIRF Ranking (19th in Engineering and 7th in University NIRF 2023). Currently, the department offers an undergraduate program in Civil Engineering and a master program in the Structural and Construction Engineering stream. Currently, there are 45 PhD pursuing their research in the different fields of civil engineering.
The National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT-T), formerly known as a Regional Engineering College (REC), was established in 1964 through a collaborative effort between the Indian and Tamil Nadu Government. The institute holds the 9th position in the current NIRF ranking and is the only NIT to get into the Top-10. With the cream of engineering and management talent, encompassing exuberant students and inspiring faculty, integrated with state-of the-art infrastructure facilities, NIT-T today has emerged as one of the premier institutions in the country.
Established in the year 1964, the Department of Civil Engineering is one of the oldest departments at NITT. The department offers one UG course in Civil Engineering and five PG program – Transportation Engineering and Management, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Technology and Management ( L&T Sponsored). The vision of the department is to shape infrastructure development with a societal focus. Full-time PhD, funded by the Ministry of Education (MOE), PhD (part- time), and MS (by research) are also offered by the Department.
