Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, spoke through video-conferencing on “Establishing Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) Best Practices” for a NAAC-sponsored online seminar on ‘IQAC and its Role in Quality Assurance in Higher Education’ organized by Mount Zion College of Engineering & Technology, Pudukottai, Tamil Nadu on 8 November 2023. Dr. Taksala Devapriya, the IQAC coordinator of the college, offered felicitations for the seminar, which saw the participation of 65+ faculty. In his presentation, Dr. Prashant R. Nair showcased the best practices of AMRITA, such as publication coordinator, and Department Academic Advisory Committee (DAAC) for OBE. In 2023, this is the 6th NAAC-sponsored conference wherein Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s IQAC has been represented in terms of knowledge exchange and dissemination of best practices and is, no doubt, a recognition of the IQAC outreach of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
