Dr. Prashant R. Nair, Vice-Chairman – IQAC, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, delivered the thematic address on “Quality Education through OBE” for an online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the said theme organized by Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad and IEEE Education Society on 22 January 2024. 300+ faculty members attended the online FDP featuring a galaxy of eminent speakers. Dr. Prashant covered topics such as Bloom’s taxonomy, Course Outcome (CO) design & attainment, and CO-PO mapping during his session. He also showcased various best practices of AMRITA, such as the Department Academic Advisory Committee (DAAC) and the documentation system for Outcome-Based Education (OBE). Dr. Rajanikanth Aluvalu, Professor, Department of IT of the college, presided over the session.
