May Dharma purify the Earth: Amma at the World Hindu Congress in Bangkok

Amma spoke at the inauguration of the World Hindu Congress (WHC 2023) in Bangkok. The three-day conference began today with the theme “Jayasya Aayatnam Dharmah”, which means “Dharma – The Abode of Victory”.

“A very powerful vibration pervades every particle of sand, every atom, and the very atmosphere of our country, Bharat. It is the vibration of Vedic chants and spiritual austerity performed by countless ancient Rishis. It is the pulsation of spiritual power. This is the invaluable speciality of Sanatana Dharma,” said Amma.

“May my children have the strength to overcome all the obstacles that they have to face in their way towards establishing their goals. May the obstacles of the outer world never deter you. May spiritual knowledge and power help you at all times and in all circumstances.”

WHC 2023 is focused on “crucial aspects” as people continue to reorient their lives in a post-COVID world. Its vision is to realise the full potential of each Hindu for a better and just world. Its mission is to provide a comprehensive platform for Hindus to work together for the welfare of all.

The gathering will encompass seven parallel conferences to address economy, education and academia, media, politics, organisations, unique leadership, and contributions of Hindu women and youth.

Amma continued: “Everything is governed by Dharma. Bharat is the land that has taught the world the ultimate truth. That God is not a remote, abstract concept, but truly exists within us as our very own breath—our hearing, sight, touch, taste, thoughts, and emotions. Our very pulse and circulation.

“May that abundant source of spiritual wisdom, which has not yet run dry, emerge and surge powerfully like the River Ganga. May it once again spread across the land and purify the Earth. May we all take a pledge to make it so. This is Amma’s prayer to the Paramatman.”

With participation of delegates from more than 60 countries, WHC aims to provide a “ comprehensive platform to explore and deliberate on challenges and opportunities before the Hindu community ” . It is a global platform for Hindus to connect, share ideas, inspire one another, and impact the common good .

“ May the tree of our lives be rooted in the soil of love. May good deeds be the leaves and kind words be the fruits. May the world flourish as one family, united in love. May we thus be able to create a world in which peace and contentment prevail,” shared Amma.

Amma will give her official address on November 26, Sunday 10.00 am IST. Other distinguished guests include Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak, RSS; Swami Vigyananand, Joint-General Secretary, Vishva Hindu Parishad, Bharat; Satguru Bodhinatha Veylanswami, Publisher Hinduism Today, USA; Susheel Saraff Chairman, Organising Committee, WHC 2023, Bangkok; Swami Purnatmanand Maharaj, Working President, Bharat Sevashram Sangh, Bharat; Milind Parande, Secretary General, Vishva Hindu Parishad, Bharat.

WHC 2023 is a quadrennial event. The inaugural WHC was held in Bharat in 2014 and in Chicago, USA in 2018.
